Extended Profile
Hello!
A bit about me - I live with my husband and two cats, and I also like walking, cycling and rock-climbing, gardening and experimenting with various foodstuffs in the kitchen. I haven't poisoned anyone yet, so doing well :)
The photo is of Magnus, one of my cats, posing (one of his favourite pastimes) and preventing me from working...
Favourite reads: I like fantasy/ fairy tales, sci-fi , historical novels, some children's stuff, and travel and climbing books - favourite authors include Neil Gaiman, Lindsey Davis, Diana Wynne Jones, Bill Bryson, Philip Pullman, Jilly Cooper, George R R Martin and Joe Simpson.
Note on Trades, Loans etc
Books on my 'Available' shelf are those I have read and will usually be bookringed, wild released etc. I am usually up for trading these - please PM me, especially if you have anything on my Wish List! I will also occasionally consider loans, but usually only to UK or Irish Bookcrossers because of postage times. And I would also ask that it comes back to me within 4-6 weeks, please.
'TBR' books may go to the Permanant Collection shelf once read, or may become Available, depending on what I thought of it. If you see something you like here, PM me and we'll try and work something out.
'Reserved' can mean that some other bookcrosser is waiting for it, (ie as part of a bookray) or that I have it earmarked for Some Other Purpose - either way, these books are not usually available.
And Permanent Collection means just that - definitely not for trading or releasing, although I might consider loaning a book if you ask very nicely ;)
