One of three in the series that I was very kindly given by BC friends in the UK to read and release. Book 1 made it to the Natural History Museum in London, Book 2 made it to KArlsruhe in Germany. I'm plannig to take this final book to the next Perth BC Meetup (probably this weekend).
I really enjoyed this installment. I was a bit worried that, as much of this book is set away from Rome, it would suffer from too many diversions (as the first book of Davis' I read). However, on the whole, this story stuck to it's guns and resolved itself nicely in the end. I also learnt a lot more about Roman history that I ever though I would!!
