I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved this book. It is part autobiography, part confessional, part just wonderful family hugs (warts and all!)

The Dolan family could not be more different from my own: they are 8 kids, I have only one brother, no sisters. Yet, I felt so comfortable with them, I could relate so much to their stories. I also loved how, throughout the book, some of the same family stories were told by each of them and, of course, remembered and related slightly differently! I wish I were able to tune into their syndicated radio show, unfortunately, at this point in time, I can't, so I content myself with subscribing to their newsletter.


Although I don't have any sisters by blood, I am blessed with a network of truly great friends. THEY are my real Satellite sisters. And thanks to the wonder of the internet -- and in no small part, to Bookcrossing -- that network keeps growing.

I know this will be a bit late but I am sending this to one of these very Satellite Sisters as a surprise.....I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
