My first ever RABCK from someone else!
Dagon very kindly sent me this since she'd already read it; a gesture which left me pink and giggly and feeling most snuggly for a good few hours.
Thank you, Mistress Dagon!

Gosh I found this hardgoing.
It's one of the BBC's Top 100 Big Read books, but I fail to see why, apart from its subject matter.
I just didn't click with Nabokov's writing style, but for some reason - probably because it's a modern classic etc - I fought my way through to the end. Note: do not try to read while Top Gear is on in the background; you will be distracted way too much and find it even more difficult to read.
Hope Lolita's next reader has a better time of things with it.
