2004 Aladdin small hardcover, illustrated by Anne Wilsdorf, tale of our young heroine on her first adventure. This copy was a discard from Burckhalter Elementary School. I found it a couple days ago in the Patterson Little Free Library.
Edit May 5, 2024: This was fun, but I just skimmed to end for time. The drawings are very clever, and do a good job of capturing the Chinese American ethnicity of the characters in a subtle way. The story about the girl magician is a nice plot device. It's for very young readers, and runs short. I currently have this ranked at #7954 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
